Yamato Bussan reports record nine-month profit of ¥910 billion

Yamato Bussan today reported profit for the nine months to 31 December 2024 of ¥910 billion, up 14% year on year, with Energy & Power and Metals & Mining both recording their highest-ever quarterly earnings.

The company raised its full-year forecast to ¥1.18 trillion and reaffirmed the ¥110 annual dividend per share. Progress against Compass 2030 targets remains on track.

A Trajectory of Sustainable Growth

CEO Ishida stated at the press conference, "This historic performance is the result of years of portfolio rebalancing and a resilient hedging strategy against energy market volatility." Going forward, the company plans to aggressively reinvest the abundant free cash flow generated into renewable energy and next-generation infrastructure businesses.
