A sōgō shōsha is not a holding company of unrelated parts. Yamato Bussan operates as a single integrated house in which trading, investment and logistics reinforce one another across eight segments.
We trade the physical goods — energy, metals, chemicals, food. We invest equity in the assets that produce them, from offshore wind farms to grain terminals. And we move them through a logistics and finance network refined over 144 years. Profit from one segment funds the transition of another; data from all of them sharpens every decision.
